Is PolyAgent really free?

Yes. No subscription, no premium tier, no fee on your trades. If you like it, Home has an optional way to send a tip, and that is the only money that ever goes to us.

Are there any fees at all?

PolyAgent adds none. Polymarket itself charges fees on some markets, exactly as it does on the website. Your AI provider bills you for model usage, or you run a local model for free.

Is it safe to give the app my key?

Your key is encrypted by your operating system’s keystore and never leaves your device. AI tools and jobs have no path to withdraw funds. If you prefer, you can sign with WalletConnect on your phone instead.

Does it work with my polymarket.com account?

Yes. Export your key (the app walks you through it for email, Google and MetaMask accounts) and PolyAgent trades from the same wallet, positions and balance you already have.

Which AI do I need?

Any of Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini or OpenRouter with your own API key, or Ollama running locally. The app caches prompts and trims history to keep token costs low, and shows what each reply cost.

Can the AI trade on its own?

Only if you turn on Auto mode. It then trades inside your per-trade, daily and exposure limits. One kill switch stops everything. By default, every proposal waits for you.
